Plans change. I think I just heard each of you reading this say, "You got that right!" We've learned that in the last two years with our three boys and Micah's medical needs.
This last week has had its share of frustrations, not the least of which included the lack of knowing exactly what the plan was or is for Micah's next surgery to correct the bile blockage. Numerous factors have gone into this decision-making process. Yet here is where it stands.
Currently the pediatric transplant doctor is out of town. Sarah and I decided today that we would prefer to wait for her to get back before having the surgery. Since we are waiting, we were discharged to come home and wait for the surgery some time on or after March 16.
Micah's doing great. God has truly given him the grace he needs to endure all that he has and is facing. The bile drain that had pulled out was reinserted yesterday and working properly. For now we wait to here confirmation as to when the surgery will be. I greatly appreciate your prayers and notes over the last two days.
I'll keep posting when I know more.

~sigh~ - and to think that you were going to get a visit from me tomorrow AND a Hardee's biscuit. Oh well, I'll see you in a couple of weeks and be praying for Micah in the meantime.
Justin & Sarah - I just wanted you to know that I pray for you all daily and there's a group of Prayer Warriors in NJ that have Micah on the top of their list...God has blessed me by putting your family (Mom, Dad, Bryan, Cheryl and Garrison) in my life - I look forward to the day when I get to meet you all in person....Beth

Your family has been constantly in my prayers and in many other's since the beginning....and they will continue to be :) Thank you sooo much for your outstanding testimony of the Lord's goodness through all this...You have truly been an encouragement and a blessing to me!
