Mission Testimony - Thursday

I didn't really know what to expect on this mission trip. I knew it would be nothing like last year-different people, different tasks. But the one thing that has been similar both years is the love the people have towards us. Last year, we were working with mainly Muslims and they were so kind to us, even though we don't share the same beliefs. This year, however, we are working with The Great Commission Fil-Am church. Everybody, and i mean everybody, is so thankful that we are here. We are the first mission team they have had to come and visit them. They are so generous to us; they've provided us with food, and they even gave my brother a jacket when he was cold. They never struggle to put us first, even when we don't deserve it. They don't have a lot, but they try there hardest to make sure we're happy and we have everything we need plus more. On the other hand, we have a lot, yet sometimes are selfish to give it away. This has really challenged me to try to put others first, and really live it out. I am so thankful for this trip and for everyone we have met!
